Discussion: Share car from Juneau

I am currently planning to take the ferry on Friday, back on Tuesday after the Sprint. If there are takers, I will bring a rental car on the boat and chauffeur you around. Some contribution to the cost will be expected. Otherwise I'll bus it and bum rides. Please let me know.

Apparently Alaska Seaplanes are now flying Juneau to Whitehorse.

Yep. 3 days/week. And looks like US$550 round trip for just that short leg.

What, if anything, do you know about bus options from Skagway to Whitehorse? (I'm doing the ferry trip from Prince Rupert to Skagway). I know there is an (expensive) option involving the White Pass railway and then a connecting bus to Whitehorse, but the only info I've found online about buses on the Skagway-Whitehorse route is a timetable from 2014, which makes me wonder if it still exists?

Are you still looking for carpoolers? I haven't finalized travel plans yet, but that looks like a good option for me if it's still your plan.
