Ochils - unless you want your "butt kicked" by an auld man! :-)
Yeah I need a next race to do. You seemed to have a fun list for the last few months. What's fun to do in next few months?
Maybe a round, rather than a race?
Not sure how definitive this page is

I think you would (both) be considerably quicker than the time mentioned in the final paragraph (and I'll come too for as long as I can keep up!)
I think I am just going to keep training for the sake of it for a few months. It’s quite good fun if you can keep the niggles at bay.
I must say I do think the rounds are rather pointless. Have people really got nothing more pressing on their hands to be getting on with? It’s the sort of thing Carnethyites just LOVE, and we all know how dull they are. In fact there is a book that keeps popping up on my twitter feed, mountains are calling (?) which the author keeps banging on about x, y and z ‘round’, and although it is written by an Edinburgh-based Hill runner so might be interesting in parts, I just can’t bring myself to buy it. Ray did some Bob Graham reccying, and decided that it was just too tedious and he had better things to be getting on with. I think I agree.
Of course they're pointless, that's the point :-) But unlike races they are free to enter, you can do them whenever you feel like, there's no pre-competition stress and if you get fed up halfway you can bugger off and do something else.
Obviously the sub-24hr things are a bit silly, mind.
Don't know any Carnethyites so I'll take your word on their dullness. I had a brief peek in that book: looked interesting, mainly because it mentioned loads of people I know, from Alec Keith to Sasha.
