Difference between your condition and mine seems to be the torn labrum. You were still running leading up to the ops. I can't - almost instant pain, which is what clued me in to the issue in the first place......

I also caught mine pretty early - the aching in the hips - I had mostly gone to the physio for the adductor issues, not for mechanical issues in the hips. She spotted it and referred me to the consultant.

I then fought the NHS for funding for the best part of a year and eventually paid for the ops myself.

I suspect that is part of the reason I am still running and stuff now.

Yeah. My other hip is also achy......
