Earlier this week Emma Waddington (Canada) placed 6th in the JWOC sprint - the best ever sprint performance by a North American at JWOC. Making the podium at the international level takes a lot of hard work over many years and also costs a lot of money.
To help offset some of her racing and training costs Emma set up a GoFundMe fundraiser earlier this year and she is already about a third of the way to reaching her goal. Any additional donations in support of Emma will be greatly appreciated.
The kind words and support that many in the AttackPoint community have already provided by celebrating her success (and more recently rallying behind her with wonderful support) have been appreciated beyond expression. Hopefully she won't need to raise more funds for extra coaching costs associated with internet trolling pressures that appear to come from international success. ;-)
