Thanks Oli. I was surprised and pleased at running the second half faster. And good stuff getting a pb despite being in a big boo before the race again!

No you misunderstand, it was me that was in a boo beforehand. On account of the extreme pain I knew I was about to endure.

no OJ you misunderstand, I was just trying to get mike to say 'I wasn't in a boo' then i'd have said the old 'you're in a boo' and he'd have said 'no i'm not' etc etc. Its all a big windup.

Oh no......you've fallen into the trap of the Percy Pud PB syndrome.
Hate to disappoint, and I'm not saying that the course is short, but its amazing how many of Sheffields athletes have PBs from the Percy Pud!

Okay...just seen the posting on oli's site - looks like the course has changed, so maybe it is legit now!

I think the course is a little tougher now the last mile isn't downhill and you now finish higher than you start.
