Hi,
I'm toying with the idea of trying to record some training runs on video. Do folks have recommendations regarding best headcam and software to use?
Thanks,
Jeremy

Check this camera out. It's 360 so you don't have to worry about adjusting while training, you can look down at your map later. Also, the stabilization is amazing.

@Grandjean - couldn't find anything to make it a headcam. I have been looking into them to take along as a "second pair of eyes" when field checking. I often take pictures to back up so to speak things I drew when out there, if I want to take a "second" look when at home. Phone in pocket not a great option.

Got it. This camera uses the same mounting accessories as a GoPro. I used a chest harness in the video I made.

How waterproof is it?

I.e. similar to my Garmin watch, or does it need some form of rain enclosure?

I have a lot of interest in using headcam video as a tool to improve orienteering skills, http://o-training.net/blog/2011/01/19/improve-your... unfortunately after sending emails to the developer of the Camolyze tool https://camolyze.wordpress.com/ and Jan it does not look that anyone has interest in developing a new tool / app. Happy to know if anyone wants to chaice this (with me) aiming to create / develop a new app / tool
