Orienting can be tough, especially when you just get going. From the reading I’ve been doing, I think it’s more related to spatial working memory than spatial skills. That means that for anyone who has trouble with working memory (ADHD particularly), orienting is even harder. I am really interested in what makes this easier for some to pick up than others, and what helps those who struggle (besides a compass).
