How an overuse injury is not stupidity induced, particularly when you expect it to happen ?
I think calling an overuse injury stupid would imply that my training is purposefully structured around goals to perform well next summer and hence carelessly planned if it results in injury. Recently though I think it's become more of an enjoyment/obsession/escape mechanism (you choose), so much so that I'm happily willing to risk a higher chance of injury for it.
I also have a tendency to expect the very worst case scenario so that it can only turn out better in the end. Unfortunately I didn't expect myself to fall down some steps.
