Sounds like a good argument to go back to them if you're going to keep comparing yourself to the younger age group.
I was against them from the start. Maybe you should re-read my race post and your comment from
the first year of the 5-year age classes.
Today I was comparing myself to the older age group on the course because it actually had a reasonable number of people running in it (M45 at the Victorian Long had only two starters).
You can't compare my comment from yesterday to that one from three years ago because I wrote that while in the M35 category whereas now I'm M40.
From memory I'm one of the two who objected at that AGM.
Memory fades as you get older I have heard but I can't be certain
So it wouldn't be that hard to re-work democracy and stack the next AGM to get the policy reversed.
Don't know about that, you'd have to ensure we had a bingo match happening next door to the AGM for all the 65+y.o. members to not turn up and voice their support for five year age groups.
They even had ten year age groups at the Czech 5 days with 700 competitors!
My memory fades as soon as I think of something though I guess technically I am a few seconds older than when I thought of it.
