I think there are other snowshoers in there besides the three of us, but we are probably responsible for at least some of the trails you used. When we're snowshoeing, we mostly bushwhack because it's more interesting than following our usual trails. We rarely go anywhere in particular - just wander around in the woods.

As for the weaving trails, anywhere the snowshoe trail goes, I try and put in the ski track as far to the other side as possible. If snowshoes veer left, I cross over and get far right.

Thanks a ton for not stomping the trails. Like it matters today in 14 degrees and rain! What we prefer on snowshoes in deep snow is to head over hill and dale, everywhere you can't go normally. We usually don't stay on the trails, unless I'm trying to break one in parallel to the ski tracks or get to work.
