Attackpoint - performance and training tools for orienteering athletes

Discussion: still unsure for what to sign up for. I'm torn.

NAOC WRE seem to be must haves, but then WRC is kind of must have as well. If I do stages 4-9, I cannot do WRC; I'll just be too damn tired.

Should I stay for relays? Not sure if I want to run club relay, what are my chances of running national team relay? Probably low. There will be plenty of Americans there. Would it be possible to run a non-national team in national team relay? Likely not.

Should I then go for stages 4-6?
Or maybe not do WRC, but do 3-9?
Or maybe not risk any injuries, and do just WRC?

Schedule would look environmentally disappointing:
fly in for Friday morning or Thursday night. Fly out on Sunday evening.
fly in on Friday morning again.
Fly out on Sunday evening.

Better off staying. Lake Tahoe area is lovely. Little Truckee Summit on Thursday (Stage 9) is a very fine venue. Do it at a leisurely pace if you're concerned about being tired for WRC.

These events are at an altitude of roughly 6500'. If you have the option of flying in Thursday evening rather than Fri morning, that would give you a little more time to acclimate to the altitude.
