Nice to have motivation! It doesn’t stop you from doing other virtual events - or real events, if there are any.

We are very different! $60 for a 'virtual' running race. I don't understand .... :) lol!

I haven't signed up for any virtual races yet but the reason I might do it would be to support an RD who has lost a big chunk of his/her income for 2020. I might not do the race though, given that I'm injured.

I get so much from work that I can put towards race fees. So it's sort of free money that otherwise doesn't get spent.

I also need stuff like this as motivation to focus my training I find.
