Discussion: Laurel

It's just now in bloom in NE PA. Have yours blossomed yet?

Starting to pop out up here in northern MA, not yet in its full glory.

Yes, this is a good year for mountain laurel blooms, but they are more evident in direct sun than buried in the forest. Certainly a nice show of them along Lake McDonough where we go walking a lot. There was a giant clear-cut along the west side of the lake a year and a half ago and the laurel is very showy right now.
