Discussion: 2021 Team Canada Athletes

Orienteering Canada is excited to announce the 23 athletes that have been selected to the 2021 Team Canada Program. The Team Canada Program replaces the High Performance Program as the home of Canada's top orienteers. The new program puts additional focus on growth, athlete development and teamwork. In this new team structure athletes are selected to one of four teams divided to provide targeted coaching:
Junior Development
Junior National
Senior Development
Senior National
Team members also receive more time receiving coaching over all. We will be working with clubs to coordinate local support for athletes as well and plan on putting more energy into domestic and local training camps.
These athletes are representing Canada so help give them a big round of applause. If you know any of the athletes or any are from your club we encourage you to reach out and send them a brief congratulations or look at their training log and let them know you are following them!
