If anyone wants to make a week out of it, check out a weekend of Grizzly Orienteering events outside of Missoula, MT the weekend before: http://www.grizzlyorienteering.org

Hi Boris. I'm looking at the page for the Lubrecht Experimental Forest event. It lists Beginner, Advanced Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced courses. Any idea how long the Advanced courses will be? I'm a little out of shape for a Blue level course, probably closer to a Green. I'm M65, so I would be happy with a Brown.
Thanks
Jeff

Hi Jeff,

Just seeing this message now. Given the interest in this event from experienced orienteers, we will plan to have an 'advanced' and 'long advanced' courses. The advanced will be about 4-5km, and the long advanced closer to 7-8. Hope you can make it!

Excellent news, thanks for doing that (Nancy will be very happy). Will you contact us to ask us which we each want so that you can have enough maps?

Also, is it actually important that we print out the tickets and bring them along, or is that just something that's a consequence of your registration software?

Yeah, I'll send out more info about Lubrecht once we get through this Sunday's event. And no, you don't need to bring the tickets.

I just went out on a GPS MapRun course. I'm not in shape or in practice, so I think I'm going to skip Montana for this year. I need to focus on Tahoe 2021.
