Which APs are you taking? Feeling good about the exams or no?

Also, any more thoughts about schools??

Ahh... AP Physics C: Mechanics, AP Physics C: E&M, AP English Lit, and AP European History. The first two suck (it's very common to get ~65% on your exam; that's the 5 cutoff usually), but they've been getting better over time. AP Lit is a breeze 'cause I love writing, and AP Euro isn't that bad...

Also crap I didn't realize I hadn't posted an update about school choice... I committed to Cal Poly a week or two ago. I feel pretty good about it 'cause I can't really see myself enjoying Berkeley, but I guess we'll have to wait and see...

Oh wow that is a lot of exams right there. How are they doing them with covid? Same as last year?

And so exciting!!! I'm sure you will love it, but also remember you can always transfer if it ends up not being a good fit :) Have they said what their plans are for the fall with covid?

yeah this year they're giving kids the option to do online or in-person... I'm doing the first two in-person and the last two online... ironically that has nothing to do with covid, it's just that some exams are advantageous to type and other are better done by hand.

and yep a transfer is always doable, although I think I'll like it... Cal Poly said they're very optimistic about holding a majority of in-person classes in the fall, which'd be awesome 'cause I strongly dislike Zoom math classes... they're in a semi-rural, semi-urban setting, so (I hope) that won't change...

Makes sense, might as well take advantage of the in-person vs online if you have the option to ahaha

Good that they're planning on in-person classes. It seems like a lot of schools are planning on that at this point with progress of vaccination numbers. I hope for the sake of your freshman year experience you do get some in-person classes and that stuff on campus is open too.
