Discussion: Looking for teammates for U.S. Rogaine Champs

At the Orienteering USA Rogaining Committee meeting it came up that at least a few people are looking for teammates, so I'm starting a thread for people to post and find matches.

If you don't want to post in the group, you can also contact us (MerGeo the organizers, events (at) mergeo.com) directly if you'd like a direct introduction, although we are busy with other event preparations and can't guarantee that we'll be able to match people.

Thanks Eric! I am looking for a teammate, preferably 12-in-24 but am signed up for the 24 hr. I am not fast and haven't done a 24 hr rogaine before so just hoping to try it and coming out ok on the other end of it.

"Not fast" is relative. As a 60-year-old, HowSuedeItIs often beats most of the women of any age in our local orienteering races. But of course being a novice to 24-hour races is a factor. Regardless, I would recommend her as a teammate in either the 24-hour or 12-in-24-hour event.

I am also looking for a partner: I want to do ~120km real distance.
