I was signed up to do it in 2011. I trained pretty hard for it but ended up injuring my knee for good in the training up to it. I pulled out of the race about 1 week before. It will probably always remain on my bucket list. I'm glad you were able to do it. I imagine looking up at the ridge from town will always be a source of satisfaction for you now. Great job!

Thanks! Siri and I made our own, unsupported ridge traverse last summer. On that one we actually summited all the peaks (including going north to Hardscrabble and Pomp, and scrambling up to Ross’s summit), but we were moving considerably slower. It is pretty cool to be able to look up at the ridge and know that I’ve done it all in a day! I think it’s a worthwhile adventure to attempt :)
