For those looking at traveling to Montana and balking at plane ticket prices, you may want to consider flying to Spokane, which seems to be quite a bit cheaper at the moment.

Also, feel free to share requests for rides/carpools here. We are just over a month away! Preliminary course information will be posted here shortly.

I'm arriving on Friday evening in Spokane if anyone traveling east from there would like to split travel expenses.

Hey Greg, what time? And when are you heading back to Spokane?

Plane fares from Denver to Missoula have dropped into my "acceptable" range...but now there aren't any rental cars available. DOH!

I'm guessing you can find ride-sharing here.

J-J and I will be driving from Spokane to Missoula mid- to late-afternoon on Friday if anyone needs a ride. We'll be returning to Spokane after the sprint on Monday afternoon if you need a ride back as well.. We are also looking for anyone interested in sharing a house in Missoula from Friday to Monday and/or in Spokane from Monday to Sunday.

Sergei, it looks like I'm actually getting in at 10:30pm now on the 3rd. And I'll be leaving on the evening of the 7th.

I'm going for just the 4th/5th. TBD if flying into Spokane or Missoula. If anyone is doing the Friday evening driver Spokane->Missoula and the Sunday afternoon drive back, let me know. (Looks like others are generally staying longer.)

Ended up booking flight to Missoula, and found a cheap Turo car (vs. $300/day pricing on regular rentals....)

I have a hostel room with another bed or two for Friday, Sat and Sunday nights if someone wants to share a room with me.
