Ok, this was a tease…I haven’t gotten the start times finished yet. Hopefully they will be done by 5 pm tomorrow. Could/should be working on them now, but I have a needy pup, who was trembling so much that I needed to get us into our lounger and snuggle with her. Priorities…

So, if you are reading this, and you are hoping that you get certain start times, or special start times, or need to arrive late and/or early, or you are traveling with a group, or whatever, then emailing me while I am still working on the assignments would be way better than asking for a change after the fact. Email address is in my profile.

If you stated a preference when you registered, then I am on that. No need to resend, but feel free if you would like to make sure I am on it.

Thank you.

Hello, Pepper is doing better today, so I was able to focus! :)

The start times have been posted to EventReg. Emails are going out now. Thank you for your patience. Please contact me directly if you would like to make a change, or if I overlooked a request. Thank you.

And, an explanation for those of you viewing start times and seeing some missing values. This was sent to the competitors:

Good afternoon,

Thank you for registering for the Royal Romp being held on March 11-12 in Prince William Forest, VA.

As noted above, start times have been posted, with a couple of exceptions:

1 - IF you are running on the White or Yellow course, then most of you have an OPEN start time. You should report to the Start anytime between 9 AM-Noon on Saturday, and 9 AM-Noon on Sunday. Your start time will be assigned at that time.

The same applies if you are running the Recreational courses (White and Yellow on Saturday, and White, Yellow and Orange on Sunday).

Welcome to the Stephen Decatur NJROTC group of 25, which does have pre-assigned start times in the 9-10 AM slots each day for White and Yellow.

2 - IF you are a volunteer, and no start time is shown above, please go to the Start to be assigned a start time when you are ready to start your race. You should report to the start at a time that works with your volunteer schedule. Please allow up to 15 minutes to check in at the start and to be assigned a time. Starts are open from 9 AM-Noon both days, and courses close at 3 PM.

For everyone else: If the time you have been assigned doesn’t work for you, please email the registrar, Valerie Meyer, and we will attempt to accommodate change requests.

Thank you.

Valerie Meyer
