Thanks Wyatt and Nancy. It is Pepper time now for a while before bed. And, then a staff development day, in person, first one in three years. The nerve!

I am out of practice for these national events. This bare bones one seemed especially hard, having to remember the lessons that I have learned over many years.

One of those lessons forgotten but since remembered...always time sync Start and Finish each day (done), and also the last control, if it is close by. Looks like the last control had drifted a bit in the two weeks they were handed off, resulting in some impressive last splits for Day 2.

Ah that explains the 10-yr-old that ran to the finish in 9 seconds. :-)

By reading each unit, it is possible to determine who punched which unit and adjust the splits. But that is a time consuming and painful process.

Which I would have done, but we pulled one and reprogrammed it, thus wiping the memory, before the issue was known.
