Is there a way to present split times for a score/scatter event. I was using OR.
Win splits only shows a limited number of common controls.

What would you envision that such a display would look like?

Maybe use hieroglyphic text?

APer Craig has developed a program to show splits for our Street O scatter series.

I was hoping for each competitor a list of control numbers with time. This would show route taken and control dropped (one allowed anywhere in the four legs). Actually the first three legs (20 controls) were run as normal O with controls in set order (normal O, corridor O, Line O), only the last leg was a scatter. To allow this I (not known to competitors) ran the whole think as scatter in OR, so that they did not need end of leg downloads, which would have been difficult as we had remote map exchanges.

Simmo: how do you get the raw information into the program?

Geof, I would not overthink it. Just report the splits the way it comes out most easily. I suggest you treat the first three legs and the finish as a standard o course with one skip allowed (most people won't have any). That is, just ignore the fourth leg when displaying splits. You won't get splits from the scatter part, but people who care can piece it all together from the extra punches anyway. (You could separately generate a list of those for each person and include it in a separate table for those that really care.)

(Thanks again for the meet - Westmoreland is a great forest to run in; and sorry your attendance was a bit low from the faster crowd - seems like many went to the NEOC meet instead.)

Geof - what about printing the splits from OR in PDF format and post those as a link on the website?

I would guess an export from the software (xml? csv?) we use (currently MeOS, previously OE), but you'd need to ask Craig.

Great. That is what I will do.
Thanks all for comments and info.

Mr Wonderful:
For our score events, we just export splits in csv from Or and then toss them into google sheets, eg here. This has the advantage that you can sort tying scores by time, which Or refuses to do on principle.

If I get ambitious I make a second sheet that's just the CP columns to make order comparison easier.

I didn't think MeOS did splits export for score but it's been a minute since I tried.

NEOOC uses an Excel spreadsheet populated by an import of Si Config csv file, and a "dashboard" tab with pivot tables and slicers to display leg splits of interest.
