Oh yeah - I'd love to see you exercise BEFORE work thru Feb and March without a headlight. Not much of a choice for people who have to be at work by 8...

Seems to me daylight saving doesn't give you the option of exercising at all, too dark in the morning and too hot in the evening.
I suspect it is really just the return of summer that you are looking forward to.

Despite the people who work early, it's the fairer solution for the majority of people working the typical 9-5. A fair proportion of daylight before and after work. Compared to no daylight saving, where it's a disproportionate amount of sunlight in favour of the morning - a good 4.5 hours before 9am, compared to 2.5 hours after 5pm.

I love having the option, and i love the summer! ;)

Firstly, let me know what time of year it gets light at 4:30 - its news to me. For that matter it the middle of summer it's not that dark at 7:30 (real time) either. As for the majority of people actually working 9 to 5... I think you're a bit out there too. I don't know many people that can actually start at 9am. Ceratinly nobody working any of the jos I've ever had in my life.
Anyways - it ain't gonna happen for more than 1 more year. Even if peope weren't getting sick of it already, WA has virutaly never said YES to anything in a referendum

Actually Posty is not that far off. Without DLS, in the middle of summer, civil twilight starts at 4:40am and ends at 7:50pm.

Mmmmm 4:40am - just enough time for a decent bike ride before work.
