Some triathlon-biomechanics trivia: triathletes run faster in the run leg when they finish the cycling leg with a higher pedalling cadence.
Funny Mark - I was sitting on the stationary bike yesterday just thinking that my pedaling cadence is way higher than my running cadence, and wondering if this might help my running cadence to increase.
I just tried to find the study and got this instead:
