We're discussing moving the BC Champs in Whistler to the September 9th weekend. Some attackpointers has expressed interest in this event. How would this move affect you?

Magnus,
The September date would work better for us. The kids will be travelling during the summer and would not be able to make it otherwise. Looking forward to it.

Works better for me... Unless it overlaps with Raid the North Extreme, which has been annouced yet, but is rumoured to be in September. Wish AR directors could have their schedules together a little earlier in the year.

FAR web site says that RTN Extreme tentative dates are Sept. 18-23.

Thanks Bash.

Guess FAR's got me so trained as to no longer even bother looking at their website as it is very static.

Agreed - I'm also frustrated about the delayed scheduling of a lot of AR companies. I'd like to build my season around AR, but I find that I've already built my season around enough other things that I probably won't AR as much as I would like.

Anyway, now back to the regularly scheduled discussion on the BC Champs...

Ok, this event has now officially moved to the weekend of September 9-10. Go to the Attackpoint event schedule and check out the updated website, where you'll find map samples, the model map for the sprint and photos from the terrain.

The start/finish area for the long distance at Brandywine is at a fantastic spot just above a deep ravine. From the parking you'll walk over a bungee jumping bridge to get to the event.

Unfortunately, the Vancouver Sprint Festival has been cancelled, but you're very welcome to come a couple of days early and train on all our great park maps in the Greater Vancouver area. salal will be coordinating the sprint training.
