for your amusement I've done a ghetto job of "scanning" (with the digital camera) my maps from the o-festival this weekend. you can find them here: (nof*)

leg 8 on the classic is quite an interesting/sucky one, though unfortunately the "scan" quality leaves something to be desired.

Thanks for posting the maps. The 8th leg looks tough -- long, physically hard and a control that you could miss easily. Your route choice looks good. Running a bit right of the line might be fine, too. It is a bit hard to tell, but it might give a better approach to the control. On the other hand, going right of the line might add a bit of climb. My legs get tired just looking at some of the hills.

By the way, I'm enjoying reading your training log. The training and racing reports make me envious. A nice run around the woods behind Lappis would sure beat sitting here in my office. The "comments" are especially interesting.


Those of us following your training closely are looking forward to reading about the gympa session at Haga.
