They were very relieved to hear you were ok

Thanks for letting them know. Everything got totally sensationalised by the media over here - yes, the weather was bad but everyone made a choice to start knowing the weather forecast. They are still reporting total trash as of this evening when everyone was off the mountains and safe.

Don't know how much of the news made it over there - a friend of mine heard it from her parents who are in Florida though!
