Yes, thanks to BAOC for a superbly organized and technically solid event. Things went so smoothly that it looked easy, although I know that a tremendous amount of work went into it.

I really would have liked a long course on Sunday (90 minute winning time), rather than the shortened classic. On the other hand, I climbed over 500 meters on the 7.6 km course, so I'm not sure I could've taken a longer course, unless the finish had been at the bottom of the hill to reduce the climb percentage (which is the usual benefit of having a shuttle bus service).

Course length and abundant poison oak aside, I thought the courses were interesting, suitably challenging, and made good use of the area.
