That seems cold! Protect the knees/legs. My rule has been to wear tights at <60 for biking and <50 for running although in a major race might go lower before the tights with a good warm up. Still it's so important to keep the knees healthy as I have found out recently. Tights come in varying density - light to very warm. Then layer the upper body down to short sleeves is done so easily. Be Careful.

I try to wear leg coverings below 40, but I have an unbelievably hot furnace inside of me - too bad it doesn't translate into a high metobolism as well. I get so miserably hot, including the legs that all I can think about is how hot I am. So, now I wear tights at about 35 & below, unless it is windy. I have tried everything - different thicknesses and fabrics. I am always on the lookout for another pair. :)
