I remember a year that I hadn't been doing much. I got going again about a week before the Navigator Cup and did surprisingly well. I was out of breath on the first day with the sprints. The next two days were successively longer and I did increasingly better too. Overall performances improved from that point on subsequent races. Whatever weather you run into in GA, it's likely to be warmer than here. Have fun!

The weather channel was showing 40s and 50s for Sat and Sun. And 20s and teens for NY, so I can't wait to escape. See you there!

Unfortunately, I had to make a last minute decision not to go. My car is really not up for that kind of a trip and I had no luck finding someone to carpool with so my only options were to grab a last minute flight or rent a car. Interestingly both options would have cost about the same (I'm just a little over a month shy of turning 25 so a rental costs significantly more), but it was just too much money to justify spending.
