Approximate start times are posted. Please let me know if you want to do a trail run before you start the O portion. At least one person is interested in running before the training if there are others also running then. At least one person prefers after.

Thanks.

The photos can be viewed here. Dave's cat was named Creature. Of particular interest are the (partial) group photo, clint/dean/ken course review, and the physical manifestation of W.

We didn't start people at exactly their start times - it seemed silly to make people wait around in the cold.

However, here are the virtual finish times had people started at their assigned (handicapped) time and finished in the same amount of time as they ran today (K = kids'; A = advanced):

10:49:35 K Ben
10:51:00 K Meg
10:59:49 K Isabel
11:02:45 K Benjamin
11:17:25 A Brendan
11:18:26 K David
11:19:03 A Jon
11:19:44 A Ken Sr
11:19:44 A Will
11:25:25 A Dean
11:30:25 A Clinton
11:40:43 A Jeff
11:42:45 A Samantha
11:43:26 A Tori

Note in particular that the top 3 advanced course finishers (who had assigned start times) finished (in a virtual sense) within 3 minutes of the stated target 11:20. And the fastest runner finished just 16 seconds shy of 11:20. That's the power of W (and of AP rankings). Yay, arithmetic! And what a freaky tie between Ken Sr & Will; that would have been a fun duel to watch in the finish chute...

Interesting that Jon and Brendan are "gaining" on Will, and Brendan on Jon.

Thanks for organizing a great event Barb. I really liked the mixture of line-o and window-o into the course. It was fun to run an actual course with those exercises incorporated in it.

Thanks Barb -- well worth the drive down from Vermont!
