If you're within a few hours drive of French Creek and/or have been clamoring for longer courses/legs, here's early notification of the top courses at the DVOA Long-O Club Championships.

Blue is approx. 17.5K with 12 controls. Red is about 12K with 8 or 9 controls.

Sunday October 24, starts on long courses between 10 and 12, French Creek North, 1:15, e-punching, courses by EricW and me.

I'll post exact length, climb, etc. as soon as I have it. Just thought youmight qwant to put it on your O-calendar

In a few days, people will still have their fond memories of the Highlander and much of the muscle pain will have subsided. Perhaps you should repost this annc. on Thursday :) Or, dear reader, you should re-read this then, and plan to come on out! Just in case people didn't see it in the text above:

E-punching

E-Weyman co-course setting

Both of which help make for a fine event in my book.

Blue: 17.7k, 590m, 12 controls.
Red: 12.1k, 365m, 8 controls.

Start closes at Noon for these 2 courses. Allow at least 20 min. from the time you get to the park entrance to get to the parking lot and walk to the start.
