Attention USOF members and others interested in the USOF site:

Thank you for your patience while I resolved multiple computer problems this past month.

I am willing and able now to accept changes and updates to the various pages on the USOF site and you'll see progress in the next few days, getting the Events and Results pages up to date, as well as all the Team announcements (Senior and Junior teams). One glitch I already fixed was the RoadID button on the USOF site not opening correctly and not allowing orders to complete.

As always, if you see problems or errors, let me know and I'll fix them as soon as I can. (Getting rid of the Frame set up will take longer.)

I have not previously seen the "Virtual Binder", but it is absolutely great. Easy to navigate, useful, attractive, transparent. I am not sure how long it has been up, but it is fantastic. Bravo!

In regard to the USOF site, the frame set up itself is not an issue, but a more attractive design might be a good change.

Whatever changes are made, please try to keep the download size reasonable (mostly by avoiding massive graphics), so that the site remains accessible for those of us with slower connections.

I'm aware of the need to keep download sizes reasonable, and make an effort to indicate sizes for large pdfs, at least. Graphics, too, are kept reasonably small.

The following four compilations of champions in each discipline were kept up to date by Robin Shannonhouse, and now reside in the USOF site's Virtual Binder.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Individual, Classic Distance
Individual and Team, Interscholastic level
Individual and Team, Intercollegiate level
Team, Relay
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

There are also champions named in US Sprint, Middle Distance, Ultra Long and North American Rogaine Championship events. Compilations of these champions have not been assembled. If anyone has time and interest to do the detective work to come up these listings, it would be a nice addition to that portion of the Virtual Binder.

If you wish to contribute to this effort, send an email to me, usofweb /at-symbol/ gmail.com
