What?!
Get your fitness back?
Running the Bib and doing the Gibb River Road wasn't enough?
;-p

It's a sliding scale. Nicki's 10 times as loony as us 'normal' idiots, so she has a different...perspective on these things. Just back away slowly, don't make eye contact and find a fast car, cos I reckon she could outrun that 121 of yours. :)

As economical as tRicky and as slow as a bus.

Fit for the rogaine?

She is obviously fit for the rogaine. And could probably do a marathon at Bib track pace too but that is probably Nicki's point - fitness doesn't necessarily = speed :-)

Thanks Jen......that is my point.
Don't worry tRicky, I am 110% ready to run for 24 hrs around the bush chasing you. That's the problem......if I'm fit for that kind of thing it is at the detriment of my more speedy marathon pace. Up until now my training has been, "I'm going to jog around Broome for 3 hrs, up and over sandhills, along the beach, through the bush...etc," and I just keep going and going and going. But now my training has to look more like this: 14 km tempo run at 85% marathon pace, 8 x 1 mile repeats....etc. It's obviously quite a different thing altogether.
In the meantime, I'm REALLY looking forward to the rogaine.

Maybe not this weekend Nicki, but I'll be at the rogaine. I'll be sure to shout Hi Bye in quick succession as tRicky and you run past :-)

Not sure why we'd be behind you Dangerman. Could happen though if I have the map upside down at the start.

It's not orienteering tRicky, you won't find the nav quite so confusing. And what Penfold meant was that you would have done 3 checkpoints to his one and come past him.
