Was the site of our undoing. Except that you showed more mental tuffness and did not give up and go home!

West side was fine for not giving up - I wanted to give up much earlier than that, probably around 11pm-12am, just because I couldn't possibly imagine what I was doing out there.

I felt that way at 3:30am, sitting in the freezing cold admin tent waiting for something interesting to happen.

I felt like that at 11:15am when I had to start thinking about finding my pack 'n getting ready and finding I'd left my frisbees at home.

We did not tackle the West side as I correctly guess that the "grey" was Rogaine grey and Orienttering grey and would be full of nasty thick scrub and hard to move through day or night. We got some of it on the smaller grey areas on the inner ring on the West side.

It was freezing at 3:30am Juffy... when my foot slipped out from under the dooner.
I am so glad we chose to go home to our own beds.
To all who dared to go back out, no matter how long, bravo.
To those who did the whole event double bravo, very impressive.
To Juffy for being a volunteer, triple bravo. I'll buy you a beer someday.
To those who played frisbee and drank beer....... I could've done it in 15.

It's not as cold as long as you keep moving. I only got the thermal on for the night for warmth - even the mittens were only half on.

Saturday night wasn't that cold by Wandering standards. The thermometer we had at the HH "only" went down to about 0.7°, then the clouds came in and it went back up to a balmy 6-7°.

Dolf - I didn't do much. Buy Gary a beer instead, he looked like he needed a few by Sunday arvo. :)

Thems fighting words Dolf. Tooms, any chance of a frisbee leg in the Killamunda?

or was that 15 beers?

"Let's fight"

"Thems fighting words"

Frisbee and beer, my chances are improving.
