With all the grumbling I've had about my poor navigation I never even got to say thanks for competing with me :-) I only wish I didn't wait until the National Championships to have one of my worst events ever but it was (mostly) good fun out there and you were a great team-mate.
Likewise, Ricky. I'm just sorry that we won't get to give it another crack before I head back to Canada. Maybe another year and another national champs....eh??
ACT in the Snowy Mountains next year (with no David and Julie competing apparently) followed by a long weekend of Easter orienteering...
As an aside, there were only 22 teams that went to #101 (up from the 2 that would have visited had it been a 'normal' event) so we could have eaten all the lollies :-)
Ah....but don't you want the chance to actually beat David and Julie seems they continue to prove themselves as the best?
That's the spirit Nicki, do the best you can and if you happen to beat them, bonus!
On another aside, there were 560 competitors at the 2003 champs in WA, not 650 as I mentioned. There were 565 registered for this event.
