Bash:
How many Pink Guard Intervals does Tyson do in a session, and how many sessions per week?

Speaking of intervals, what's with the level 5? Aren't you a "tiny" bit tired after the weekend? K/O my trainer advised me to go easy on the intervals this week with weekend races back to back, and I can belive it as the legs are a little sluggish. You know, us old guys need more recovery time.

I don't think Tiny is racing this weekend though.

Actually I am racing, OCUP #2 is Sunday, however my A race is the CARA champs so this is week 3 of 3 tougher weeks in a row. Then a rest week, then ramp down for CARA. Basically I try to do 3 weeks on, 1 off building for my A races.

Bash: I think he does 5 sets at least once a week plus another day of hill running.

It sure seems to work for Tyson!

I wanted to incorporate periodization into my training plan this year, so I bought a couple of good books. However, I got stymied at question #1 - deciding what my most important races were so I could peak for them. So I've been as random as ever. Nice to see you've got your act together with your training plan. It is definitely producing results for you!
