We have 400 entrants in 181 teams on the 21st May 2006. Maximum field size is 500 leaving room for 100 in approximately 45 teams. Remember rogaining teams vary from 2 to 5 team members.

If you planned to enter this event or know of others who planned to enter the World Rogaining Championships then you or they need to act soon.

Online entry is available via the event website www.rogaine2006.com.au

The locals must still have a bit to learn about what rogaining is - one intending competitor was booking a motel room in Coonabarabran and, when they said they were coming for the rogaining, were asked if they needed anywhere to stable their horse.

The 7th World Rogaining Championships...

Entry is now Closed- We have 500 entrants. A waiting list has been started. We may be able to offer more places if the major landowner allows more entries or if teams or team members drop out.

If you and your team would like to be placed on the waiting list then please send an email to admin@rogaine2006.com.au

All team member family name / surnames and first names, country or if an Australian team then the state. Contact details of the team leader – email, phone number, mobile number and location / time zone.

Preference will be given to international teams, followed by interstate Australian teams and lastly New South Wales teams.

14th June 2006 Update – Field size has been increased from 500 to 700. The waiting list is now closed and entry is closed.

Today we have approximately 275 people (Internationals and Australians) on the waiting list.

All Internationals on the waiting list will be offered a place in the event.

The remaining places will be offerred to Australians on the waiting list (NSW teams on the list will be treated equally with other Australian entrants) in the order that their request was received.

Those remaining from the waiting list will be placed on a Standby list.

Further information the handling of the Standby list, team finding, replacement of team members and teams will be advised in coming weeks. We intent to do this in a manner as fair as possible.
