Oh, like you couldn't do 41 with all that tire-flipping you've been doing?

You realize that I'm in the Air Force, right? Not the Marine Corps, where I'm sure I would have had someone yelling " zero... zero" in my face after each push-up. I try to have good form, but I'm not sure I get there...

I can only do about 20 "real" push-ups -- and that would have to be in two sets of 10, probably taking me longer than 60 seconds.

Yes, but you don't get to rest. We have a rest position, which makes a difference - I only do 30-35 in my first burst, and then eke out the rest in sets of 5...and 2...and then 1. Nice work!

We have a rest position - the up position, thankfully - and I did have to pause in order to eke out the last few.

I'm just thankful that push-ups are not part of orienteering.

No kidding - although they do make it into USMAOC practices fairly regularly. The cadets are a little nuts about their PT average...but then again, they do have one of the highest of all the sports teams, so whatever.

Even with a rest, that's good work. I stop at 46 these days, which earns me max points. My days of the super-max are looooong gone.
