Sigh... well, on a selfish note, I suppose this means we can look forward to a few more of your entertaining stories - and occasional "body part" photos.
It just occured to me yesterday that I haven't raced more than 12 hours in over a year. Suddenly my weekend plans seem intimidating, too. Of course you know this, but I'll say it anyway: start slow, finish fast. Much more fun that way.
