If you even think that you might be interested in trying out for or petitioning for a place on the team please read the following message:
This message is for all University students who are eligible for the WUOC. Mention this event to anyone who is eligible but may not read this message.

The event is being held July 18-24 in Borlange, Sweden. Eligility is as follows (as per Bulletin #1):

Participant of WUOC2010
1. have to be students who are currently officially registered as proceeding towards a degree or diploma at the university or similar institute whose status is recognized by the appropriate national academic authority of their country, or former students who have obtained their academic degree or diploma in the year 2009;
2. must be at least 17 and less than 28 years of age on January 1st, 2010 (date of birth must be between January1st, 1982 and December 31st,1992);
3. must have a full passport-holdning citizenship of the country they represent.
Each country may enter a team consisiting of up to 12 competitors (6 woman and 6 men) and 5 team officials. Maximum number of competitors from each country for participation in different races:
Sprint - 3 men and 3 woman
Long distance - 4 men and 4 woman
Middle distance - 4 men and 4 woman
Relay - 1 men's team (3 legs)
1 women's team (3 legs)

If you are a college student who is eligible, please respond to the following questions. It is very important that you respond, however you are not committing to anything.

If selected, will your schedule allow you to participate?

Are you sure that you are eligible? (see above)

I´m not yet part of the official organization - but my club Stora Tuna OK is one of the organizing clubs. If you have any questions that are not answered on the official website I´ll be happy to try and give appropriate information.
When it comes to maps and competition areas I won´t be able to reveal more than what´s already shown on the website.
