Hey, you'll pass right by Palgrave on the rail trail! If we're around - and if you don't mind us slowing you down - we'd be happy to join you. Depending on which way you're coming north, you might consider taking some country roads west to Palgrave to avoid Hwy 9. It's not even safe for cars...
And I assume you mean the Humber River Trail in West Toronto, not the Humber Valley Heritage Trail from Bolton up to the Rail Trail.
The builders of that one (HVHTA) stated it's definitely pedestrian only, and there has been some bad PR with mountain bikers who rode it.
As Bash said, we're up for a ride.
No I did mean the HVHTA. Of course I hadn't actually looked it up or anything. You're right only for the hikers (BOOOOO) I'm going to have to look for some dirt roads of something to make this interesting.
From downtown Bolton, instead of the HVHTA, you can go a short distance west on King Rd., then take Duffy's Lane north to Albion Hills, which is bounded on the northwest side by the rail trail. Duffy's Lane is a nice gravel road with minimal traffic. If you go 5 minutes north of the rail trail on Duffy's Lane, you can visit Crash's brand new professional chef kitchen.
