It is great to see that Marc Lauenstein (Swiss Cheese) is now posting his training here on Attack Point. He is a World Class orienteer and a classy individual (even when he is wearing the 'Pimp' looking clothing the Swiss National team wore at WOC last year). Also good to see that Sandra is currently out training him.
I agree, and it's nice to see one first class guy (Mike) writing about another first class guy (Marc). It was a lot of fun to see Marc again at the WOC. I hadn't seen him since he was living here in the US. He was already good then, but now he is indeed a full grown Swiss Cheese. And if you should ever need dental work, maybe in the O' world Marc is the one to see. He's only a dentist-in-training, but already a legend is swirling through the Alps that he has never seen a tooth that he isn't willing to work on.
Euhm, well well, dear Mr. Hammer and Mr. Swampfox!
Thank you for your laurels; unfortunately, I am certainly a "world class" orienteer only for the size of my holes... being widely beaten in my training by a woman. BUT, as the Swisscheese is getting old, loosing some of his dynamic and starting to stink, watch out for the hightech growing in Swisscheeseland... the Rolex is a state of the art engine which might save the countrys reputation!
For the teeth, I always have a pair of pliers in my compassbag... don't hesitate to come by at the next O'event!
old, stinky cheese is the best
