Discussion: JWOC Overall

JWOC is over for another year. Overall I feel that the USA team did a great job, Like Tom said in his posting that the boys on the USA relay team #2 were running a 6minK in 95 degrees, something I think most of us back here in the USA would find very hard to do. The boys team has shown great improvement in the last few years now it is time to get our girls up to speed. All suggestions are welcome for both teams and there are plenty of volunteer positions open to help if you so desire just let me know. This was John and Siobhan's last year to be able to compete at JWOC so the next time you see them back here in the USA make sure that you congratulate them both. They both left for their last year with injuries and did their best for the team. I, myself want congratulate them both as well as the entire team and adults for a great done. GO USA! Congratulations team USA!!! it sounds like all of you have done a great job!! and i can't wait to hear more about it when you get back! and maybe get some ideas on how to train so maybe some day i can go. anyway well done (espeshally to john and siobhan) GO USA!
