I would like to send out a great big Thank You to the adults that accompany the 2006 JWOC team to Lithuania the past week and a half. To the coach, Ross Smith, who I have heard did a fantastic job; Team Leader, Tom Strat, who I say did a fantastic job for me; Bob Paddock that was there in a minute to help with our two problems of the week getting an address for the team uniforms to be sent to and arranging for the transportation to pick up a team member who had connection problems in the USA and ended up arriving a day late; Sue Hawkes-Teeter who was the team's emergency form and problem solver which we had none of to my knownledge, thankfully. These adults gave of their own time and money to travel with the team to Lithuania; to support them; advise them and to cheer for them to just plain be there for them. As Tom Strat told me in one of his emails "I think it was a successful week for the US Jr. Team and something to build on for the future." I totally agree with him and feel that we have already made some improvements in the last few years and we will continue to do so.

THANK YOU ROSS, TOM, BOB & SUE

From the US Jr. Team, USOF and the USA Junior Team Administrator, Me!
