What is that? And why did you do stelth swimming in Harriman? You aren't known to do anything stealthily.

Good job on the run. It was hot and that looks like a good time. What was the goal?

Irish Potato is a huge rock on top of Irish Mountain on Rockhouse Map
I hoped to run 1:25:30 - 1:26:30, but do not have proper speed endurance for that pace yet. We started 6:14, 6:18, 6:18 and I felt comfortable at that speed, but than I started to slow down a little and after mile 10 and well into the heat of the day - my speed dropped to 7 min a mile, but the HR was high ~ 168-170, so I just cruised to the finish without pushing too much.

Whatever you say, 6:15 is a nice and hard pace for half-marathon.

Anyway, well done Greg.

Indeed, well done, Greg!

By the way, what are your (and Goats') plans for the 1000-day? How much of it are you going to? Kat and i are trying to make plans and figure out what to do then...

Stelph swimming? Surely you meant staph swimming instead?

Nobody survives a dip in the lower Hudson without the de rigor series of injections against things like hepatitis, swine flue, goat rot, whooper feathering, lower state crud, and the various malarial maladies.
