Discussion: 4 Days until the question is asked 1000 times: what are those odd angled fences doing everywhere?

They're snow fences, as any veteran 1000 Dayer knows, and not easy to run through either!

On Day 9 we will re-visit the sensational Forrest Meadows terrain, last used for the Middle day of the US Team Trials 2 years ago, where Big Eddie was fast and accurate, and finished first among all the men.

What I am losing sleep over is this question: Is it a bigger screw up on my part to have missed the 2006 Swiss O-week; or to have missed the 2006 Thousand Day?
(There's a meadow that I know; it's grass is just calf high....Someday soon, going O'ing there someday soon...)
