Discussion: women's control 1

Didn't go straight to 1, visited the men's control first.

I'd be interested in knowing how many of the people on this course actually did go to #1 right off. I certainly visited the men's control first too, but then corrected. Perhaps it was because there was a bit of rock in the reentrant, and we were looking for a small cliff (which to my eye looked more like a boulder...). :-)

I didn't see the men's control - where was it? I did go straight to our control but hesitated for a second because the cliff was small. Of course, it did say "1m cliff" on the descriptions, and 1m is not very tall...

edit: I see on Boris' map where it was - I can see how that would draw people away.

Men's #1 was in the reentrant NE of our cliff (other side of the dot knoll), and had a rocky side to it... I don't remember looping around any green patches and thought I had them on my right as I entered the open-with-scattered-trees.

Yeah, nice on not going to the guy's first Cristina! Think lots went to theirs, it was scary to get so close to the woods and see nothing like a cliff, or something that even could be a cliff from the back side... so that made hesitation for me, and looked around to see the men's, which then I just had to check out incase I had things wrong...
