Tim, Great run today. This was some of the toughest navigation you can do and you did very well. Several people had trouble at the end where we expected people to find
it a little too easy. I think after navigating through the flat stuff you maybe think "OK it is smooth sailing now" and then don't pay attention enough. Again great run. Good luck tomorrow.

Great result on a tough course in a very competitive field!

Just saw the results and you should be really happy. Must have been a tough course since you pretty well kept up with some of the big boys in canadian orienteering!

Pratice makes (a little closer to) perfect.

I can't wait to see you rip up a MTB-O course though!

Funny you should say that. I spent about an hour talking with the fellow from Estonia about MTBO. Looks pretty fun and he answered a number of questions for me about how he trains for this. We should definitely talk more seriously about this.

We're lucky to have Margus Hallik living in Canada for awhile, and he would be a great resource to help us get the sport going here. He seems interested in helping us, and I've got all his contact info in Ottawa.

Tim, you joked before the race that you and I were racing for last place, but you tore it up! I didn't have a chance.

Perhaps GHO could pay to have him put on a clinic and a training camp/race. We can buy insurance through CARA - which GHO is a member race director.
