Gone from the rankings? I was so near the top too...

Although with my current injury I was going to drop out anyway.

Looks like you'll just have to post more and overtake Bash. (I'm sure she said she was trying to cut back, clearly hasn't worked...)

My rating went up thanks to that change so I guess I better vote for keeping it off.

Mine dropped 30 spots.

It seems to have moved me into first place. Definitely needs to be fixed.

This is back now.

PG is now back ahead of me, as he should be. But I'm still in second place by a big margin -- pretty dubious.

I'm sure if Ken added a metric for keystrokes entered into AP, Nadim would zoom past both of you into first.

I really wish someone would give me some competition on that metric. It's so embarrassing! The problem is, I watch too many friends' logs and can't resist the urge to cheer them on or tease them or whatever. When people get comments, it seems to motivate them more. Since I'm not destined for major athletic success myself, motivating others is a key part of my AP life.

P.S. Really? Nadim types more than I do? That makes me feel soooo much better!

How about a metric for time spent on AP (without necessarily posting)?
I post my training and comment quite frequently, but still I spend a lot of time following (too) many others...

When would it stop counting time? When you actually sign out? I typically leave it open for hours on end while doing other things online...

Obligatory post to avoid the gap to Bash widening

Ahh crap, fallen to 5th on the volume front. Stupid injury.

However I don't think Mustang is using this site properly.

See Bash, I'd like to believe you but I just can't. When you look at the amount of drivel that Tooms, tRicky and I post, it's hard to believe anyone could be writing 30% more posts and have them be intelligent. :)

Randomly - there's some stunning photos on JayXC's log from Patagonia.

I have 4 comments on a thread linked to his incredible race report. (This is how that metric keeps climbing - I just can't resist!) Agreed, this is well worth checking out if you want to read about one of the most adventurous races on the planet.

Thanks for making the effort, tRicky. And Juffy, I didn't say my posts were intelligent! :)

It's possible to close Attackpoint??

Bash -> it's called crashing your computer ;)

There have probably been some stretches of time when I was logged in to Attackpoint simultaneously on three computers 24/7.

I am most of the time simultaneously logged with two laptops, two cell phones and one tablet. And with several browsers in each device. And I believe/hope I am not the only one.

Wait, tRicky is injured??? I'm off to ride a few hours, got to pile it on while I have the chance...
In all seriousness, hope you heal up soon.

Bash...why embarrassed?

This taken from you Dontgetlost.ca/GHO Athlete of the Year nomination...

I'm currently logged in on 4 computers: my laptop (which I'm posting on right now), my wife's laptop (which is often in more convenient reach since she tends to leave it in the living room, my desktop (which I only use when I'm printing stuff), and my computer at work (don't tell my boss). Sorry Jagge, no phones.

Speaking of things that aren't working right, it seems like the notification on the front page that people on my favorites list have log comments is wonky. I've recently seen some cases where someone had added training (there's a '*' but no 'c' next to their name), but when I look at the log, I see that there are new comments there as well. (I don't think this is an expired donation thing, but I could be mistaken.)
Mar 6, 2011 1:44 PM #
ken:
I did change some related stuff a few weeks ago for speed optimizations, so it's possible there is a bug here. But the "c" should appear only if there are newly written (as opposed to unread) comments since your last visit to the log.

So if you: visit a log when there are new comments, don't read any comments, come back later when there is new training but no "c", then you will still have unread comment threads. The idea is that this makes it slightly easier to ignore log threads you aren't interested in.

That's a bit short-sighted, Ken. Just because we're not interested in a thread doesn't mean we can't inflate our post count in it.

...right Bash? :p

Tooms:
tRicky's always injured - it's just a matter of how severely he last crashed his bike / slipped over / tripped and fell / poked his fork into his throat! Nice (but damp) photos on JayXC's log, great reading.
Mar 6, 2011 3:47 PM #
tRicky:
It also depends on how long the injury is taking to heal. Slowly healing injuries eventually cause me to restrain myself from exercise just to see if doing anything different will speed up the process. Hopefully that is the case this time.

Hey I'm sure I was uninjured for at least two consecutive months last year.

I don't give injury recovery advice. I just ignore it.
